Boulder Boutique Celebrates Re-Opening

Boulder, Colo.–Completed just in time for the holiday shopping season, Walters & Hogsett recently feted the reopening of its renovated Boulder, Colorado boutique.

The renovation took over four months to complete, and the store stayed open for the duration.

Kansas City, Mo. firm Icon Architecture & Fabrication aimed for a “Colorado casual” style as it revamped the store interiors and installed new showcases, focusing on a mix of textures and colors that reflect the Rocky Mountain environment.

The new space boasts a larger repair area, a custom design studio named Studio W&H, a private buying room with bar stool seating and front-loading cases, a “social area” to serve beverages, a new Rolex boutique, and John Hardy and Hearts On Fire dedicated shops.

“Our business has grown exponentially over the last four years and we feel fortunate it has in this changing retail environment,” Mark Vieregg, partner and co-owner of Walters & Hogsett, said in a press release.

“Our customers are sophisticated and seeking more and now we are able to meet those expectations. Our internal team is second to none. We knew we needed to grow our footprint to meet demand and drive our future.”

Walters & Hogsett used the physical store overhaul as an opportunity to reimagine its overall brand image.

With the help of its marketing firm, Fruchtman Marketing, and local company Cultivator Advertising, Walters & Hogsett changed its brand logo, brand colors, packaging and the look of its website.

Earlier this month, 300 friends of the store celebrated its grand reopening. Merchandise on display included expanded offerings from key brands like the aforementioned Hearts On Fire, John Hardy, and Rolex, as well as Lika Behar, Sethi Couture and Marco Bicego.

Walters & Hogsett also introduced new names to their store, such as Jude Frances, Roberto Coin, Mémoire, Lauren K and Ron Hami.

“It’s an exciting time for us and we knew as a company we needed to seize the opportunity to improve our fashion jewelry choices our customers demand and our overall brand position in the marketplace,” said Don Janson, partner and co-owner. “We couldn’t have done it without exceptional industry partners and phenomenal customers.”

Walters & Hogsett is located in the Water Street Plaza in Boulder and was founded 37 years ago. See their new website at WaltersandHogsett.com.
